Warp Cardio (“the app”) is a heart-rate-zone cardio app built by an individual developer. This page describes what data the app collects, why, and how you can remove it.
Session history, settings, and vitals are stored on your own device first. You can train, track history, and use every free feature without ever signing in. Nothing leaves your device unless you create an account.
Sign-in is handled by Clerk, a third-party authentication provider. Depending on the method you choose, we receive your email address, or your name and a unique ID from Apple or Google — never your password. Once signed in, your session history (heart rate data, zone breakdowns, movement-based body-focus estimates, and timestamps) is backed up to our database so it survives a lost or replaced device.
Heart rate comes from a Bluetooth chest strap or monitor, streamed directly to the app during a session. The app displays your bpm against zone thresholds you (or an age-based estimate) provide — it does not sense your effort and never claims to. We never sell or share heart rate or health data with advertisers or data brokers.
For completed workouts, we estimate time across broad body areas from the moves programmed and completed. These estimates describe the movement mix; they do not measure muscle activation or diagnose training needs. They are saved with session history so the Performance Lab can show trends.
On iOS, Pro subscriptions are billed entirely through Apple’s App Store (StoreKit) — we never see your card details. On the web, subscriptions are billed through Stripe, which handles your payment details directly; we only receive your subscription status. We use that status to unlock Pro workouts, custom workout lengths, and live performance metrics. The free plan includes one workout in each workout category and the live HR chart.
We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous, aggregate page-view counts on the web app. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t track you individually across sites.
You can delete any session, or your entire history, from History → Manage at any time — this is permanent and immediate. To delete your account and every record tied to it, use Settings → Delete account in the iOS app, or email tsferro2@gmail.com and we’ll remove it.
Warp Cardio requires you to be 18 or older to use it (see our Terms of Service) and isn’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, email tsferro2@gmail.com and we’ll delete it.
